HMP Communications, LLC Launches Website
www.consultant360.com to support recently acquired journals


Malvern, Pa., May 12, 2011 -- HMP Communications, a leader in multi-media healthcare communications, today announced the launch of www.consultant360.com, an interactive website which will support two leading clinical brands, Consultant and Consultant for Pediatricians. The publications were acquired from UBM Medica US, a division of London-based United Business Media Limited on April 15, 2011. The site, www.consultant360.com, is the official web location for both Consultant and Consultant for Pediatricians. HMP Communications is a division of HMP Holdings (www.HMPHoldings.com ).

"The launch of this official website creates, for the first time, a totally interactive multi-media experience for healthcare professionals in the primary care and pediatric fields as well as the readers of these two iconic, 50-year-old brands," said Jeff Hennessy, president and CEO of HMP Holdings.

Hennessy says HMP Communications is looking to significantly increase the tens of thousands of active physician and clinician e-subscribers it currently reaches with the addition of www.consultant360.com . "HMP Communications was early to recognize the power of the web and totally embraced it. The growth opportunity for us in acquiring these two leading clinical brands is the brand extension we know we will achieve with the launch of this official website. It was the driving force behind our decision."

Hennessy says the interactivity of the official website will include reader polls on issues facing the sector, videos featuring different therapies for varying medical conditions, webcasts on therapies and topics such as reimbursement, and a calendar of events appropriate for primary care and pediatric professionals. The site also will be accessible via various smart phone/tablet applications. Hennessy added the site will carry articles from current print issues as well as a wide array of supplements relating to primary and pediatric care. Also, it will carry classified advertisements, including recruitment advertisements for both clinical and administrative positions.
